Chairman Lawrence Ost is one of the leading entrepreneurs in the filtration industry.
Since joining Filtration Group, Inc. in 1968, Ost has expanded the company from one
location with only 12 employees to a global manufacturer with more than 1,000
employees and 13 manufacturing facilities.
Before joining Filtration Group, Inc., Ost held multiple upper management positions at
Midwest Air Filters. He also served as vice president of Dust Stop Corp and Continental Air Filters.
Ost graduated in 1967 from North Park College in Chicago with a bachelor’s degree.
Additionally, Ost is an active member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and
Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
